The SETX Gang is an informal group of Geocachers in the Southeast Texas area that meet monthly to discuss our latest adventures and our future plans.
We meet for the "First Monday In Beaumont" Event on the first Monday of each month in the Lodge Room of the Beaumont Gander Mountain from 7 to 9 PM (except September when we meet from 4-6 PM because of Labor Day hours). This event is a very informal meeting that gives us a chance to meet other cachers, ask questions, share stories and just visit. We always enjoy when new cachers or cachers from other areas make it for a visit. There is no charge to be part of our little GANG. We also host 2 large outdoor all day events each year "SETX GANG Spring Fling" in April & "SETX GANG Octoberfest" in October. These events have grown over the past few years from just caching and a potluck lunch, to all of that plus a cache container contest, doorprizes for all, multiple raffles, including FlameIt's Ammo Cans, and an auction of custom ammo cans and the cache container contest winners. A new monthly event has begun Third Thursday "Gitcha Grub On" that is held in various Southeast Texas restaurants. So if you are free come join us for some great dinner conversation.
